Country Club Manor Master & Exterior Remodel
This exterior remodel completely transformed the home and grounds of a circa 1940's Arlington colonial. The off-center original brick stoop was replaced with a more expansive stone stoop with wrought iron railings. A new portico with standing seam copper roof, PVC trim, and bead board ceiling complete the front facade. The entire home was painted and windows and exterior doors were replaced. Trim and siding on the rear addition were replaced and windows were re-configured. Two aging decks were replaced on the rear of the house with a new covered porch with copper roof and a new side deck with composite decking and pre-finished railings. The master suite was remodeled, adding a steel beam, and creating two new walk-in closets. The master bathroom was gutted and replaced with a classic design featuring an expansive fixed glass panel at the shower.
Landscape design by Don Nesmith at Land & Water Design. Landscaping and stone work by Andy's Lawn & Landscape featured a permeable paver driveway, stone walkways, a patio, planters, a synthetic putting green, and new plantings over the entire grounds. Architectural drawings and design by Thomas French Architect PC.
