Ready to remodel your home? Contact us today and one of our experienced team members will visit your home to assess your needs and project goals. We take the time to understand your objectives, evaluate and photograph your current space, and provide initial suggestions and ideas. We’ll also discuss your budget expectations and give you an overview of our process. We then follow up with a preliminary budget and a design contract if both parties decide to move forward.
1 / Investigation & Documentation
Once we’ve determined that Atlas Moran is the right fit for your project, we’ll conduct a detailed evaluation of your home. This includes measuring and documenting the existing space and gathering insights on the level of finishes and design preferences. Additionally, we research local building and zoning regulations, site conditions and other factors to start to develop an accurate project budget. We also add your design project to Buildertrend, our construction management platform.
2 / Design Development
Next, we explore multiple design directions and identify any potential challenges or constraints. You will have several meetings with our team to make sure you are completely satisfied with the direction of the design. We will generate proposed floor plans, elevations and section and detail drawings so you can see what your new space will look like.
3 / Specifications and Selections
After the design is solidified, our team works closely with you to select every detail, from materials to finishes, ensuring that your vision is brought to life. We refine the budget throughout this phase and provide a final, fixed cost for the project before construction begins. You’ll also receive detailed architectural plans and all necessary construction documentation.
1 / Construction Documents
After the proposal has been reviewed and accepted, we finalize the construction documents and submit them to your county for permits. Before breaking ground, we hold a pre-construction meeting to introduce you to the production team and review key aspects of the project. This includes discussing communication channels, work hours, material storage, and any specific requests you may have. We also add your construction project to Buildertrend.
2 / Ongoing Communication & Daily Logs
Clear communication is essential to the success of your project. Throughout the construction phase, our team will provide progress reports including photos and videos through Buildertrend. This keeps everyone aligned and ensures any issues are resolved promptly. We will also schedule milestone meetings with you to ensure the project is on track.
3 / Final Walk-Through
Once construction is complete and final inspections are passed, we’ll conduct a walk-through with you to ensure everything meets your satisfaction. We’ll create a punch list of any final touch-ups needed and assign values to those tasks, holding back the corresponding amount from the final payment until the punch list is completed.
4 / Post-Construction Wrap-Up
After you’ve had time to settle into your newly completed space, we’ll send out a project survey to gather your feedback. We’ll review how the project was executed from start to finish, ensuring that we continuously improve our services. Additionally, you can access all important documents, plans, and warranties through Buildertrend.
5 / Comprehensive Warranty
At Atlas Moran, we stand by our work. We offer a comprehensive warranty that covers any issues that may arise after project completion. We’ll stay in touch periodically to ensure your continued satisfaction and address any concerns that arise.
